Weather for Lakeside! TODAY
Written by Johnny Raindrop
Sunday, 06 June 2010
The International Children's Festival at Lakeside today is still very much ON! If it's still raining by 2.30pm this afternoon (our first appearence) then we will be inside the theatre.  We'll be on again at 4.30pm.  We're sharing a stage with a children's comedian!  Come down and support us. Absolutely loads of activities and performers down there from 1pm.  Cheers, Johnny

May into June!

Hi there Raindrops fans!

A great big thanks to all who came and supported us at the City Pulse event on Monday and a big HELLO to all those new fans we met.  When we started our first set, we could hear the pretend Beatles running through 'Ticket to Ride' so cheers for chosing us over the Beatles.  The weather was good and there were plenty of you dancing and singing.  It made our job a lot easier!

We've got a busy week ahead.  Firstly,we're at the Theatre Royal on Friday.  This show has been sold out for at least a couple of months.  I've written a special 'Beanbag song' due to the beanbag nature of the event.  I think they'll be plenty of people there who have seen us many times before so we'll try and give you one or two surprises.

On Friday, we're at Lakeside, University Park for the fantastic International Children's festival. We're going to be playing right on the side of the lake in their amphie-theatre.  It's a great space and you'll be ableto see the water literally lapping our toes behind us.  Again, listen out for the specially-written Lakeside song which is lots of fun.

For those of you who are on our mailing list, expect a free ticket offer coming  very soon.  If you're not on the list just email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and request to be on there.

All the best for now.  Got to get back to fixing up my robot costume!
